Art & Wine: Borrow a Vintage Polaroid Camera
Sunday, September 20, 12:30-5:30pm
Borrow a vintage Polaroid camera for the afternoon! Registration includes 1 pack of color film (plus a bonus slightly-expired pack!), tips on how to compose your analog photos, and suggestions for a photo walk in NE. Sip a staff favorite wine before you go! You'll have up to 5 hours to roam on your own, and sip while you show & tell your photos upon return to Violet. Advance registration is required, $56 per person.
Art & Wine: Drop-in Art Afternoon
Sunday, September 20 1:30-5:30pm
Need some analog art time? Spend the afternoon at Violet Wine & Spirits with Jen! Bring your own project, or play with provided materials: there will always be collage goodies, scissors, glue, watercolors, and pencils & paper available. Sample a staff favorite wine while you enjoy analog time in a creative and stress-free space. Snacks provided, too. Pay what you’d like. Advance registration is helpful but not required! Drop-in anytime between 1:30 and 5:30.

As for wine, one of the few comforts that the end of summer brings me is the anticipation of fall cozy foods, and what wines I want to drink with them.
Starting strong with the Forge Cellars Riesling. Again, my opinion is that Riesling is fall wine and the Finger Lakes continue to produce beautiful examples of what we can do with wine in cooler climates.

At Violet we drink bubbly frequently. We don't wait for anniversaries and job promotions for this kind of thing, although we would never, ever object if someone offered us a glass in celebration.
